An event space with a crush on creatives.

About

Located in the heart of Belltown, this 100 year old historic building offers a multipurpose event space primarily dedicated (but not exclusively) to Seattle creatives. We want to be a drop in the ripple effect of success for local artists, makers, musicians, and designers by offering this 3000 square-foot industrial space to make their creative dreams come true. From art exhibitions, to fashion shows, to concerts, to makers markets, the sky is the limit as far as we’re concerned when it comes to how the space can be used.

We’re also excited to host weddings, corporate retreats, parties, and any other type of events, but creatives have our heart. 🤍

River is located at 1927 3rd Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101 within blocks of downtown hotels, Pike Place Market, the Great Seattle Wheel, and other downtown attractions.

Nonprofit and Artist Pricing

Our flexible pricing system was inspired by BIPOC led organizations working to undo systemic economic inequity. Additionally, as artists ourselves, we understand how many creative events are often paid for out of pocket with little support and sometimes little payoff. We believe these events NEED to happen. To this end, we have launched a survey for nonprofit, BIPOC, and creative communities to apply to hold their events at River. It is our aim to make this space accessible for those with lower incomes and organizational wealth and to center our values in support of these communities.

If you are BIPOC, a nonprofit, an artist, or creative group, please reach out to us with your idea and we’ll see if it’s aligned with the events we aim to support and will see what we can do to make it work!
